Our Plot

Long ago…

Before all the supernatural creatures there were angels. Those angels were at war with the demons of the underworld. This war started in heaven and was brought here to the human world.
Angels came to earth in human form so they could protect the world from demons. For centuries the angels succeeded at watching over the real humans. And so they remained among us in the form of gargoyles, disguised, hidden from humans, asleep, watching over us from their home, St. Vladimir’s Castle. But the demons who had lost the war would not so easily give up. The needed a new plan.

Not long after the battle of Heaven and Hell, another battle took place. A battle among humans. A prince named Dracula…of whom we all know the story. After finding his beloved bride’s lifeless body, he cursed God and that was the chance the demons had been waiting for. A change to start a new war. They seduced him with promises of power and immortality. And so he made a deal with the devil without even knowing it yet. And so, the 1st supernatural creature was created. A vampire. Dracula. The prince, regretting his decision, tried to end the deal; but it was too late. The hunger was already too strong. Soon enough there was no trace of humanity left in him. He never died nor reunited with his bride. The angels, who had been asleep were now awake and needed to destroy the creature. But Dracula was too strong; no angel could kill him. Except for one. Gabriel the archangel. The left hand of God. He came to Earth as an immortal human form so he could hunt Dracula and his kind. This war lasted centuries, until one day Dracula disappeared, and with him Gabriel…known here by the name of Van Helsing. The war was soon forgotten and they all became myths.
Suddenly another supernatural species was created. The werewolves….known as lycanthropes. The 1st of their kind, William…his blood was royal, sacred. He was a direct descendent of the angels that had been bitten by a wolf. The werewolves were natural enemies of the vampires, and so, the world found its balance again. Shall Dracula and his kind ever return, the wolves would fight them and guard our world. For centuries nothing happened and the world was safe.

Unfortunately there was one other species of supernatural, that no one would have guessed, but it would be responsible for a new war to come. The witches. A witch named Esther, one of the 1st of her kind, could not bare to lose her children; so she decided to go against nature and do something despicable…she made her children immortal. Vampires, like the tales of Dracula. She developed a spell to turn them into something that could not die nor be killed. They were known as The Original vampires for no one believed Dracula to be real…they were believed to be the 1st of their kind. As they turned, the mother, Esther, seeing what they had become…decided to undo what she had done. But it was too late. The hunger took control of them. They lost their appreciation and respect for human life. One of them, Klaus, ended up killing a human; and with that revealing what he truly was. A hybrid, the 1st of his kind. His mother had been in bed with a wolf and he was born a werewolf, but his wolf form was only triggered when he killed someone. Now that he had been turned into a vampire, he was both. Half vampire, half wolf. Their parents realized that the children had become abominations and decided to kill them. But Klaus killed his mother instead. And along with his brother Elijah and his sister Rebekah, he ran away. Elijah, the oldest of the 3, only ever wished to be reunited with his family. Rebekah always wanted to find love. And Klaus, still wants to rule the world. Ever since the death of their mother, they’ve been collecting grimoires from witches they’ve encountered.
Those grimoires are the key to finding a certain object that’s been lost for centuries according to the witches history. A locket made by a witch named Iris back in the 17 hundreds (XVI century) in Italy, so that she could bare the child of her lover, a vampire. The witch used a magical herb known as Allyra to perform the spell and make whoever possessed the locket, fertile. It worked. She gave birth to a boy she didn’t have time to name…for the people found out what she had done and they burned her alive, along with her lover during the time of the famous Witch Hunts in Europe. The herb Allyra, was destroyed so that no supernatural creature could ever give birth to a child. The locket is lost until this day. The child Iris had…the boy, was never found. Some say he became a powerful sorcerer who lived in the mountains of Norway. Others say he could summon the dead and even bring them back to life. The tale of Iris and her lover was passed on to each generation of witches until the modern day. They are the only ones who know about the existence of the locket. And the answer to finding it, lies somewhere in their grimoires.
The only problem is that witches are believed to be nearly extinct, they have not been seen in over 200 years.

Meanwhile there’s another hybrid…Michael. He shares the blood of William, the 1st wolf. A direct descendent of royal blood. Bitten by a vampire on the verge of his death, Michael became something more powerful than anyone could expect. His partner a vampire by the name of Selene, was the one who bit him in order to save his life. Their love is the only thing that can put an end to this war between wolves and vampires.
The news of the existence of another hybrid made Klaus curious enough to find a way to create more like him.
Also…the possibility of finding the sorcerer that can bring back the dead made Dracula return after centuries, and with him, Van Helsing. He wants his bride back and Van Helsing aka Gabriel will do anything to stop him.


New York, 2006
Natasha was a normal teenager like any other. One night when she was 16, she was coming home from a friend’s house. She found both her parents laying on the floor drained of blood. And her brother was screaming. Suddenly he stopped. Something, or someone had drained him as well. Scared for her life, Natasha hid until the thing/man left. With her entire family now gone, she was taken to an orphanage of which she quickly escaped. As she ran away, Nat found herself in the streets. And when a man tried to abuse her, she pushed him into the middle of the street and he got hit by a car. The man died instantly. On the next full moon she turned for the 1st time. Turns out she was a werewolf and had no idea. Nat tried to gather as much information as she could about what she was. She found out that the curse was triggered when she accidentally killed that man. And that when triggering the curse, she was doomed to turn on every full moon for the rest of her life. During her research, Natasha also found out that the creature she saw the night her parents died was a hybrid. She never believed these things to be real…until now. She had to find this creature and avenge her family. In her mission to find the creature, Nat found Michael instead…the hybrid descendent from William the 1st wolf. Michael told Natasha about their history. And he also gave her a gift. He turned her into a hybrid so that she could fight the creature as an equal in strength. Although she hated the idea of being half vampire, she was glad that she wouldn’t have to turn on every full moon anymore…it was a painful process. Now Nat could control it; she could turn at her will. So her mission continued…her search for the man who murdered her family; the man who destroyed her life. In years of research and training her body to make it stronger, she discovered a place called Mystic Falls. Natasha had a feeling this was the place she would find some answers. What she didn’t know was that Mystic Falls was the place she was meant to be.


San Diego a few years ago...
Jericho was the oldest of 4 brothers. His family was like any other. He was the quarterback of his school’s football team. A guy any girl would want to date. However, his life would never be the same again. On prom night he tried to save a girl from being raped. During the fight, he accidentally pushed the other guy over a balcony…the guy fell 3 stories and died. Jericho then triggered his curse. He was a werewolf. And on the next full moon he would turn. During his first full moon, having no clue of what he was, Jericho turned while at home and ended up killing his younger brother Jake. Once he turned back and realized what he had done, he could never forgive himself. His parents threw him out. He was now alone in the world. Jericho left San Diego and never looked back. He went from town to town until he finally ended up in Mystic Falls.


Mystic Falls 2013
Natasha had just gotten to town when she met Hayley, a werewolf. They became best friends. She was the only one that knew about Nat. They told each other everything. One day Nat was walking through town when she spotted him. The monster that murdered her family was right across the street. The people of the town knew him as Klaus. Klaus. Now she could finally put a name to the face that had been haunting her for years. She could finally plot her revenge. But before she had the chance to go up against her enemy, something unexpected happened…She met her soul mate.
Jericho had been working at the Grill waiting tables. He didn’t know many people in town yet. On one afternoon Nat was heading to the grill to meet Hayley when she got a text and tripped over a stranger’s feet while reading the text. The stranger who she tripped over happened to be Jericho who had just finished his shift at the Grill and was sitting on a bench while waiting for a cab. It was love at first sight. That night they went on a date. It was the 4th of July. They had the most magical night, and just when the Sun was about to rise, they sat on the roof and admired the view. From that moment on, they knew they belonged to each other. He was a wolf and she was a hybrid. The fact that they understood one another completely only helped them love and trust each other all the more. They were soul mates, destined to be together. And just like that, Nat forgot about her past, her revenge; and focused on her present and her future with Jericho. And he did the same. Their lives were perfect, they were madly in love…living together and planning their lives…
Until one day Klaus ambushed Jericho in the woods and in an effort to increase his army of hybrids, he tuned Jericho forcefully. Since Klaus was created by a different process than Michael, whenever he created a hybrid, the hybrid would be sired to him…forced to do his will. In a desperate attempt to save Jericho from being Klaus’ puppet, Natasha took him far away from Mystic Falls, where they could break the sirebond and hide from Klaus until they were strong enough to face him. Nat stood by Jericho, teaching him how to control the urge for blood and helping him break the sirebond by making him turn over and over until it didn’t hurt anymore.


Montana 2014
St Vladimir’s Castle, previously the home of the angels that watched over our world…had been abandoned for years. The gargoyle statues remain there. Some say they are the angels, disguised, still watching over us. Some say they left a long time ago. The place is now a school…a refuge for those with royal blood, the descendents of angels, to learn their history.


Mystic Falls 2014
Now they are back in Mystic Falls and they want their lives back. Klaus is gone, he’s the king of New Orleans now. Jericho proposed to Nat on their 1 year anniversary as a couple. The only thing that’s missing is a family…as hybrids, they can’t give birth to a child. And that was Nat’s biggest dream. Being a mother…starting a family.
Not everything is lost…
There’s still hope.
Elijah, Klaus’ brother and Nat’s secret ally told her about the witches tale of the magical locket. There’s finally hope for Nat and Jer to have the only thing they’ve ever wanted: a Family. On top of that…the sorcerer who can summon the dead could be the answer Jericho’s been hoping for.

Could he finally find some closure on his bother’s death?

Will Nat and Jericho finally be able to start a family?

Or will Van Helsing get to the locket first and destroy it before they get the chance?
